Courtney Johnson

Courtney Johnson teaches at ThrasherMrs. Johnson graduated from the University of Mississippi in 1998 with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. After graduating, Mrs. Johnson moved to Nashville, Tennessee. She taught kindergarten and second grade in Williamson County. In 2002, she and her husband moved to Chattanooga, Tennessee. Mrs. Johnson began teaching at East Lake Elementary. While at East Lake, Mrs. Johnson taught second and fifth grade. In 2010, Mrs. Johnson began teaching at Thrasher Elementary. She currently teaches reading, writing, and social studies.

Mrs. Johnson has two daughters, Izzy and Leila. Izzy attended Thrasher and is currently a student at SMMHS. Leila is a fifth grader at Thrasher. Mrs. Johnson and her girls love going on hikes around beautiful Signal Mountain with their two dogs, Blossom and Poppy.
